Who are we running for this year?
Meet Miriam, a Form 4 Student at St Francis Girls School, who is able to pursue her studies after securing a scholarship from the Amazing Maasai Girls Project.
Team Washington State - we will dedicate our run/walk to Miriam. Please keep her in your thoughts as you cover your Miles for Maasai Girls.
Our Global Run this year will go directly to fund scholarships for more young ladies like Miriam, who will start high school in 2027. Thank you for your support!

How it works:
REGISTER:
Visit our 2026 Event page, and sign-up to donate your run on Saturday, October 17-18th weekend.
Registration is free for this virtual run fundraiser. Donations over $50 receive an event T-shirt!
RUN OR WALK:
On the weekend of October 17/18th, head out alone, with your dog or with friends for a 5km/3-mile walk or run, dedicated to your team’s Amazing Girl!
SEND US A SELFIE: Take videos and photos of yourself running in a Maasai red t-shirt. Email / text it to us and share it on social media with the hastags
#globalrun2026 and #MilesforMaasaiGirls. As always, we'll create a video mashup of all the global runs around the world to showcase this year's efforts.
All donations will go towards educating Maasai girls in Kenya who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend secondary school.
