Our Current Amazing Girls
The Amazing Maasai Girls Project currently supports 65 high school students across three schools in a very rural area of Laikipia, northwest Kenya. The gallery below displays photos of students attending St. Francis Girls’ Boarding School. Names have been withheld to maintain privacy.
Each an every child pictured has displayed impressive ambition and drive in order to be selected to receive a four-year boarding school scholarship.
Each and every child below has committed to maintaining good grades and a great attitude.
This, despite the extreme disadvantages and obstacles she faces at home.
This, despite the fact many have lost a parent or parents and have considerable responsibilities when school is out.
These girls are bright and ambitious. They deserve to lead lives in which they have control over their futures. We see their older sisters doing this just. They are Amazing.
