Who We Are
The Humans behind the Project
Co-Founder
Molly was concerned that girls do not have access to education in Maasai communities. Education had transformed her life, and she thought that an event organized by the people, for the people could bring both awareness and funding to the girls education agenda. She was right! After a stint in Kenya, Molly has relocated to Colorado where she is plotting the next ultra- endeavor with Sarah. |
Co-Founder
Sarah is not intimidated by a challenge. In fact, she dives right in. Organize an ultra-marathon in Kenya while living in China? No problem. Recruit runners around the world to an obscure race in Africa, obviously easy, people! Sarah is the passion behind the race and the unstoppable force making sure girls get educated. A mighty lady. Sarah now resides in Los Angeles with her husband that she met in Kenya. |
Race Director. Scholarship Coordinator
Solomon the heart and soul of the race and scholarship program. The Project would be lost without him. Since day one, Solo has been by our side for everything from deciding the race course, to enlisting the community and schools. When he is not race organizing, he is is coordinating the Amazing Girls scholarships and looking after them. He is also a certified guide and works with Ol Lentille Sanctuary. Busy guy! Solo lives with his Maasai brothers and sisters in Kenya. |
Philantropist. Photographer. Fundraiser.
Paul cares deeply for children and education. He and his wife Nicha Ark are patrons of charitiable causes and are passionate fundraisers. Thankfully he believed in the Project and has almost single-handedly generated the endowment fund. He's also a fabulous amateur photographer and is responsible for photo documenting the races and Project. As if that's not enough, in 2013 Paul was our race director. Paul lives in Bangkok. |
